Tot 23/10 - FRANCO FONTANA: PAESAGGI
The forms of the Italian landscape, even in its urban declination: sixty photos of Franco Fontana - at Palazzo Madama from July 13 to October 23 - works by the artist who has devoted himself to the landscape since the beginnings, exalting chromaticities and geometric structures. Franco Fontana’s work has often been associated with painting: from color field painting to abstractism, from American realism to pop. His works, however, are born and developed exclusively within the photographic language, for which he has explored for years limitations and possibilities.
Franco Fontana is without a doubt among the most prestigious Italian photographers on the international stage with a long career of exhibit successes and publications, celebrated in 2006 with a honorary degree awarded by the Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Torino.

Tot 07/01/2018 - PETER LINDBERGH. A DIFFERENT VISION ON FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY
The exhibition presents 220 photos by Peter Lindbergh, one of the most influential fashion photographers of our time. Lindbergh revolutionized fashion photography by setting aside distant, staged shots in favor of an unbridled language expressing grace and beauty, inspired by cinema and dance. In his elegant shots he immortalized the supermodels that ruled the fashion world in the late 20th century: from Cindy Crawford to Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista, launching the "era of top models". www.lavenaria.it
Tot 28/01/2018 - LADY DIANA. A FREE SPIRIT
On 31 August 1997 Lady Diana Spencer died in a tragic accident, leaving the public in shock and generating a void that has remained unfilled in our hearts. Twenty years have passed since the princess’s death and today Kornice celebrates this world icon with an exhibition that provides insights into an figure that has become our own: Diana as a symbol of femininity and strength, summing up the paradoxes and the many facets that characterize every woman.
The display - hosted in the Rooms of the Pages of the Reggia di Venaria, which are used as an exhibition space for the first time - is a tribute to the many souls of Lady Diana, which are presented through evocative and inspiring images, references to magazines or events, and testimonies that will offer an engaging experience to the visitors. www.lavenaria.it
Tot 28/01/2018 - GIOVANNI BOLDINI
The Reggia di Venaria and its evocative spaces are home to an exhibition of more than 100 masterpieces by Giovanni Boldini. From 29 July to 28 January 2018, the display will present a vast and spectacular collection of oils and pastels by Boldini and his contemporaries. Giovanni Boldini’s world is dazzling: his genius has celebrated feminine charm, sumptuous and swooshing gowns, the Belle Époque and its elegant drawing rooms that perfectly define the rarefied atmosphere of an extraordinary era. The exhibition retraces the steps of the Italian-French master’s artistic journey not only as one of the protagonists of that unique period or a visionary precursor of 20th century modernity, but as an artist whose works have paid tribute to women’s beauty, unveiling the most intimate and mysterious side of noblewomen of the time. www.lavenaria.it
